NEOPHOS, the calcium sodium phosphate (20%P, 20%Ca et 5%Na) was developed in 2013 by Phosphea teams. It’s the result of a chemical reaction between feed grade phosphoric acid, a calcium source and a chlorine-free sodium. Produced in France at Saint-Malo plant, it’s available in micro-granules (0.2-1.5 mm).
It has been designed to meet the needs of the animal nutrition market: on the one hand, the product meets the nutritional expectations of feed manufacturers with a highly digestible source of phosphorus (RBV INRA: 94). With 20% calcium, the Ca/P ratio is 1. Its chlorine-free sodium source gives its a positive electrolyte balance, which is a tool used by nutritionist to optimize animal performance. On the other hand, NEOPHOS can also be considered as a technological solution for customers who seek to improve industrial processes, from manufacturing (pH management, reduction of reactivity) to storage (reduction of the risk of caking).
