Job description
Reporting to the Asia-Pacific Business Director, you will further develop our Feed Phosphates activities in some of our key markets in South-East Asia. The main missions are: Commercial: - Develop and expand the business in the animal feed sector (integrators, feed millers, premix makers, distributors,…) in some key SEA markets - Identify the main levers of development and propose a development strategy - Monitor the market (competition, potential clients, raw material cost, regulations) - Draft and negotiate commercial contracts in order to optimize your results (prices, margins, volumes and market share) - Manage your area P&L - Closely follow-up the correct processing of client orders, logistics and payments - Participate in the budget elaboration and draw strategic orientation Technical: - Provide technical advice to Asia clients related to our products and put forward technical solutions to develop sales - Assist clients to define their needs and train them to use our products - Provide technical training to Asia sales team, including joint visits to their clients and prospects - Promote our products through conferences, seminars, exhibitions, media and key opinion leaders - Keep the company updated about any change in quality/regulatory norms in South-East Asian markets - Graduate/Engineer in Animal Sciences and Bachelor’s Degree in International Business or Marketing - Strong knowledge in animal feed formulation - 6+ years’ experience in feed formulation and/or sales of animal nutrition or health products - Results and business oriented - Strong entrepreuneurial spirit - Strong leadership skills - Familiar with cultural and business practices in Asian countries - Excellent negotiating and communication skills - Autonomy and cross-cultural mindset - Responsible, well-organized, open and transparent - Fluent in spoken and written English + another Asian language - Frequent business travel is required
